THE COMPARATIVE EFFICIENCY OF PAVEMENT DESIGN CODES
The application of decision model using preposterior analysis is proposed as a means for comparing the efficiency of various pavement design codes. The criterion of efficiency is chosen to be either minimum total cost for a given reliability, or maximum reliability for specified level of available funds. A practical example is given to illustrate the discriminative power of this model. /Author/TRRL/
