The pedal study: further analysis concerning bicycle crashes and injury severity in the ACT: final report

The aim of this study was to identify the associations between the riding environment and other factors contributing to the risk and severity of bicycle related injury. Detailed multivariable analysis of the data was undertaken to determine the strength of associations between factors associated with three key issues of interest: 1. crashes on shared paths; 2. examination of the protective benefits of clothing; 3. circumstances of off-road crashes.
