COMPUTER CONTROL OF SHIPS WORKED OUT
Some details are given for the Bailey 855/25 process industry computer, which features a multiprocessing, time-sharing design as opposed to an event-oriented software concept. The design is based on eight separate functional computers that allow highly reliable on-line process control or monitoring, simultaneously with debugging of new programs, man/machine and peripheral communications, and many other activities.
