ENCOURAGING RESULTS FROM HIGH-POWERED INDUSTRIAL GAS TURBINES
Operating experience with marinized General Electric heavy duty gas turbines is reviewed. Dual-fuel operation is considered from the point of view of parts life when using natural gas, diesel fuel, crude oils and residual fuels. The alloys used in the marinized units are described, and the durations of maintenance-free runs are discussed.
