ELECTRONIC DUAL FUEL SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL AND MARINE GAS TURBINES
An electronic fuel control system for gas turbines is described. This control system is adaptable to liquid, gaseous, and dual-fuel fired gas turbines. The primary function of the system is to provide power turbine speed control in either of two modes, with a secondary function of protecting the set against overspeed and overtemperature during steady operation, and to prevent compressor stall during acceleration or flameout on deceleration. A general description of the system is given, with detailed descriptions of the liquid fuel control system and the gas fuel control system.
