The book is intended for specialists in the building and repairing of hydrofoil boats and for engineering staff working with aluminum welding. It describes experimental and production hydrofoil boats. An analysis is presented of automatic, semiautomatic, and manual argon-arc welding, as well as contact welding. The complicated technological process of building hulls in one unit, its joints and sections, are described. Special attention is devoted to the quality of welding and welding processes. Recommendations and data are included on the repair of hydrofoil, hull, and propellers.
