GUNITE: A HANDBOOK FOR ENGINEERS
The general uses of gunite are comprehensively covered: Its properties, its advantages and the material used in its manufacture are included. The dry mix process is generally used in preference to the wet mix process. The equipment used to produce gunite, personnel, techniques, engineering and architectual considerations, refractory gunite, and testing are all dealt with in separate chapters. Clauses suitable for inclusion in specifications for gunite work are given in an appendix.
