THE CYLDET 1800 SYSTEM FOR THE CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF THE COMBUSTION PRESSURE IN DIESEL ENGINES
Description of CYLDET 1800, a new measuring system developed by ASEA for the continuous monitoring of the combustion pressure in the cylinders of marine diesel engines. Special emphasis is placed on the development of the transducer, which is capable of being connected continuously to the cylinder and has a sufficient response to reproduce correctly the pressure at speeds up to 700 r/min.
