CURRENT STATUS OF NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL LNG CODES AND STANDARDS
A state of the art survey traces the development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and the regulations developed to protect the public from its potentially hazardous qualities. The philosophy of various national, state and local bodies in response to the developing needs of the LNG industry is presented and their interrelationships with NFPA, ASME, ANSI in developing safety codes are traced from 1944 to the present.
