INFLUENCE OF MINERAL ADMIXTURE ON BINDING BEHAVIOR OF CHLORIDE IONS FROM DEICING AGENT UNDER FREEZE-THAW ENVIRONMENT
凍害環境下における凍結防止剤由来塩分の固定化に及ぼす混和材の影響
It is unclear that influence of replacement of cement by mineral admixtures, such as blast furnace slag or fly ash, on deterioration due to frost damage and deicing chloride ion binding behavior in concrete members. It has been reported that chlorides of deicing agents accelerate the deterioration due to frost damage under freeze-thaw environment. Therefore, the durability of concrete structures against and chloride ion penetration is an important issue on concrete structures in cold regions. According to previous studies, chloride ion binding capacity can be generally improved by replacing cement with mineral admixtures. Moreover, it is necessary to show applicability of using mineral admixtures instead of cement under freeze-thaw action in terms of less CO₂ emission, since use of mineral admixtures is not promoted in cold regions at present. This study aimed to investigate influence of replacing mineral admixtures with cement on chloride binding capacity, which was identified by classified chloride ion(total, soluble, fixed and free), phase change of hydration products (Friedel’s salt formation)and pore structure. As the results, it was confirmed that 1) curing period of 180 days improved chloride ion binding capacity with fly ash, while use of blast furnace slag showed the improvement with curing period of 28 days, 2) in case of using blast furnace slag, chloride binding behavior was occurred and shifted from physical adsorption to formation of Friedel’s salt, 3) in case of using fly ash, sufficient curing could improve chloride ion binding capacity due to C-S-H formation and 4)use of blast furnace had beneficial effect on pore densification even under freeze-thaw cycles.凍害環境下において、セメント硬化体への凍結防止剤由来塩分の浸透性状に対する混和材の影響に着目した検討事例は稀少であり、凍害および塩害の複合劣化に対する混和材の影響は不明確である。本論文では、凍害および塩分浸透の繰返しが混和材を使用したセメント硬化体の固定化性状に与える影響について検討した。その結果、複合環境下において 1)養生期間が高炉スラグ微粉末およびフライアッシュを用いた場合の塩化物イオン固定化特性に及ぼす影響、2)高炉スラグ微粉末を用いた場合の塩化物イオン固定化挙動、3)フライアッシュを用いた場合の塩化物イオン固定化挙動、および 4)混和材を用いた場合の細孔構造の変化を明らかとした。
