A New Ice Resist Oil Platform in Bohai Bay
National High Technology Research and Development Program named Key Problems Study of the New Ice Resist Platforms. A new ice resist platform, JZ20-2NW platform was build based on research results of the project. This paper addresses application of research results on ice-structure interaction and vibration control study in design of the structure. Performance of the structure in the oil field in winter 2005~2006 was also assessed and introduced in this paper. The results show that ice-resist capacity of the new platform is better than the old oil platforms deployed in the same oil field.
