How Do You Light the Night?

In this article, the author discusses the importance of developing a lighting plan for road maintenance jobs in order to ensure visibility and work zone safety. The article details the objectives of a lighting scheme; the three levels of lighting for work zone considerations; and the four main categories for work zone lighting. It also makes recommendations for field testing of work zone lighting.
