PRODUCTIVE SYSTEM OF A PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM

SISTEMA PRODUTTIVO DI UN SERVIZIO DI TRASPORTO PUBBLICO

Consideration is given to a public transport line running in its own route and the time space configuration of demand independent of supply. The known flows of international exchange are then transformed into a continuous function of exchange between points on the line and, introducing as variable characteristics of the system the number and position of the halts, frequency and speed, as well as all the resources, both of the undertaking and of users, a system of equations is reached which makes it possible to solve the problem of the optimization of production.
