INVESTIGATION OF HYDRAULIC LOSSES IN WATER FLOWS WITH POLYMER ADDITIVES
The experimental results of studies of the effect of polymer additives on the resistance of flows of pure water and suspension-bearing flows in pipelines with various degrees of wall roughness are presented. It is established that polymer additives lower the resistance both in pure water and in suspension-bearing flows.
