WALL PRESSURE FLUCTUATIONS IN THE FLOW OF DILUTE POLYMER SOLUTIONS OVER A ROUGH SURFACE
This paper presents the results of an experimental study of the influence of the spatial arrangement of surface roughness elements on the wall pressure fluctuations in flows of dilute polymer solutions in a pipe. The so-called k- and d-types of roughness, artificially produced on the wall of a hydrodynamic duct with an internal cross section of 20 x 70 mm is studied.
