GENERALIZATION OF J.K. LUNDE'S METHOD OF DETERMINING THE FLOW AROUND MODELS IN A MEASURING CHAMBER OF RECTANGULAR CROSS SECTION

Equations are formulated for determining the profile of a wave generated on the liquid's free surface in the case of a thin profile in the measuring chamber of a rectangular cross section flow tunnel. For the case of infinite region of liquid with constant finite depth, equations are derived which define the potential of the velocity vector deviation from the uniform stream velocity. All results are presented in the form of sums of series. An evaluation is also made of the terms which implicate the convergence of the series.
