FLOW AROUND SHIP SECTIONS IN WAVES

A method developed for calculation of the sea-keeping behavior is presented. It includes the additional parameters such as the periodical flow around the body sections at the free surface and the associated hydrodynamic pressures, forces and moments. The method offers rather accurate results, particularly for the hydrodynamically "difficult" section shapes.
