Visualisierung von Fahrplandaten in Kartenanwendungen: das Fahrplanangebot der Stadtwerke Muenster in Google Maps / Visualizing time schedules in map applications

Verkehrsunternehmen bieten durch die Bereitstellung ihrer kompletten Fahrplandaten in digitalen Kartenanwendungen einem breiten Nutzerkreis die Moeglichkeit, schnell und intuitiv Oeffentliche Personennahverkehrs(OEPNV)-Routen ueber mobile Endgeraete zu planen und abzurufen. Die Stadtwerke Muenster haben ihre Daten in den Kartendienst Google Maps integriert und dafuer die Datenmigrationssoftware FME Desktop genutzt. Fuer die Ueberfuehrung der Daten aus den datenhaltenden Systemen der Stadtwerke Muenster in das Google-lesbare Format GTFS wurde ein standardisierter Workflow entwickelt, um saemtliche OEPNV-Daten korrekt abzubilden. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: A wide range of user is able to plan and retrieve quickly and intuitively traffic routes via mobile terminals as local transportation companies provide complete time schedules in digital map applications. As one of the first local transportation companies in Germany, the Stadtwerke Munster has integrated their data into the map service Google Maps by using the data migration software FME Desktop. To transfer the data from the management system of the Stadtwerke Munster into the Google readable GTFS formal, a standardized workflow was developed. So, all local traffic data could be mapped correctly. (A)
