NUMERICAL VERIFICATION OF INTEGRAL EQUATION FOR THE PROPELLER SURFACE THEORY
NUMERISCHE UNTERSUCHUNG DER INTEGRALGLEICHUNG DER PROPELLERTRAGFLAECHENTHEORIE
The propeller theory by Isay is examined by the theory of circulation distribution on blades. The wake is assumed to be stationary in relation to the ship's hull. Approximate methods were compared to the highly complex design methods using electronic computers. Numerical results are presented.
