PUEBLO PROMISES BIG BOOST FOR RAIL R&D; THE QUESTION IS WHEN
For those railroads, equipment suppliers and transit-system operators who have been looking longingly toward the Department of Transportation's High Speed Ground Test Center in Pueblo, Colo., for technical help in overcoming some of their safety, mechanical and operating problems, the word for them at the moment has to be: Patience. It will be at least two more years before testing starts in earnest at the DOT facility.
