STATIC PROBLEMS OF HYDROFOIL CRAFT
LA STATICA DEGLI ALISCAFI
The report deals with a general method for solution of buoyancy, trim, vertical, longitudinal and transverse stability problems, and problems of weight addition and shifting in hydrofoil design. The theory is based on foil lifting characteristics having limited aspect ratio, and moving near a free surface. General equilibrium finite and differential equations are written and used for different types of hydrofoils.
