ROTATIONAL RESISTANCE OF MODERN BOGIES

Evaluation of conditions relating to tyre-flange wear and derailment has been published but little has been reported concerning vehicles which incorporate secondary-suspension which is therefore dealt with in this article. Included among these are Metalastik rubber assemblies and Flexicoil. The construction of the Z-curve is also explained.
