ULTRA-MODERN LIGHT-WEIGHT CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES APPLIED TO DB 200 KM/H ELECTRIC TRAIN SETS

In preparation for the development of the DB high-speed Inter-City network, three pre-production four-car series ET 403 light-weight 15 kV electric trains motored on all axles were put into production two years ago and their construction embodies certain novel features incorporating large extruded-aluminum sections.
