“Smart Routing”: Creating a new route with floating car data that provides a better user experience for a vehicle driver
Various routing functions have been proposed, but drivers have not been completely satisfied with these routes. Therefore, the authors propose a new route function that satisfies most drivers. They created a model of driver route choice using the multinomial logit model and generated a new routing algorithm called “Smart Routing.” Using Smart Routing, they were able to obtain new routes that provide a better user experience to drivers.
