Monitoring, Control and Management of Dangerous Goods Transports in Urban Areas
This project aims to develop and experiment a system based on telematics and dedicated for the monitoring, management and control of dangerous goods transports in the Great Lyon urban area (France). The main goals are to design innovative tools and new value-added services both for private actors involved in the logistic chain of dangerous goods transportation (shippers, carriers, drivers, clients...), and for public authorities in charge of transport and security issues.
