50 KV ELECTRIFICATION FOR BLACK MESA
Ultra high supply voltage enables whole of 78-mile route to be fed by one substation on fully-automated line handling 3,000-ton coal trains hauled by 4,000 kW 190-ton Co-Co G.E. locomotives which are equipped with dynamic braking.
