STUDIES ON PROPERTIES OF SHOTCRETE
In order to optimize the proportion and the executing method of shotcrete, the effects of factors related to the mix of shotcrete on coefficient of rebound, strength, velocity of the elastic wave, etc. were studied using a statistically designed experiment. One of the most significant features of the present experiment was the quantitative control of mixing water in the spraying concrete. The coefficient of rebound was influenced by cement quantity per unit, injection angle with the spraying surface, W/C, interaction between C and S/a, and main effect of S/a, in the decreasing order of significance. The test clarified other properties considerably and an optimum proportion of shotcrete was obtained. Additional test with some combinations of selected factors seems useful.
