Research and Development of Simulation System for Layout of High-Speed Maglev Transportation System
A complete comprehensive simulation system platform for planning and designing a high-speed maglev transportation system was developed based on the preexisting Shanghai Maglev Demonstration Line. This research aims to introduce structure, key technology, main function and application prospect of the platform. The simulation system - consisting of subsystems and central database and its' supporting software - can be used for overall structure design, core subsystem concept design, transit organization planning, equipment quantities estimation and other purposes. It has been tested and verified by real-world engineering cases and has already been used in the planning and designing of the Shanghai-Hangzhou project and the Malaysia-Kuala Lumpur project. It can aid in the planning and design of new high-speed maglev projects.
