Analysis of Characteristics of the Passenger Flow of the Original and Terminal Stations of Urban Rail Transit: Take the No. 1 and No. 2 Subway Lines in Xi'an As Examples
There may be a deviation of the original and terminal stations of urban rail transit when the passenger flow forecast is done in the view of the whole network. In order to amend the results of passenger flow of the original and terminal stations of urban rail transit, this paper classifies the original and terminal stations into four types: foreign hub, link with city suburb, link with satellite city and link with another city. Then, it summarizes the current operating situation of the original and terminal stations of the No. 1 subway line and the No. 2 subway line in Xi'an. Finally, it summarizes the characteristics of every type of the original and terminal stations of urban lines. It provides insight for future research on the passenger flow forecast.
