STUDY ON CONCRETE THROUGH GIRDER RAILWAY BRIDGE
This paper examines both experimentally and theoretically the mechanical properties of concrete through girders used in railway bridges and discusses the results of studies through experiments and field work on methods of construction of this type of bridge, particularly in regard to methods of erection prestressing. Further, criteria for design and construction of rational and economical concrete through girder railway bridges are proposed based on the results of these studies.
