Elevating the Art of Parking
This article presents a case study of Bedrock Real Estate Service's efforts to revitalize downtown Detroit, Michigan through the construction of a 540,000 foot, 10-story mixed-use building. The development, named the "Z", created 34,000 square feet of specialty retail space and 1,300 parking spaces, while also serving as a model for sustainability, advanced technology, and amenities. Additionally, the space has become a noted venue for public artwork as part of Detroit's Library Square District, which is quickly becoming an important pedestrian gateway into a comprehensive downtown experience.
