Dubrovnik i Ruđer Bošković (1711.-1787.) Povodom 300-te godišnjice rođenja (1711.-2011.)
The paper deals with historical description of the 18th century Dubrovnik. The importance of Dubrovnik of the time has been emphasized in terms of the development of literature and science. A cross section view of Rugjer Boskovic's life has been presented and his significant role in the Republic of Dubrovnik (Ragusa) has been singled out as well as his role of the scientist and researcher who had encouraged the development of shipping not only in Dubrovnik but also at the global level.
