INTERACTIONS OF AN AIR-CUSHIONED VEHICLE WITH AN ELASTIC GUIDEWAY
Using a previously developed model of an air cushion, the interaction of a high-speed, air-cushioned vehicle with an elastic guideway for intercity ground transportation is modeled and studied. The response of the vehicle is obtained considering passenger comfort criteria. A parametric study is presented.
