The objective of this paper is to show the importance of motor third party liability insurance, its development over the years, especially in the European countries, as well as its impact on the modern world development. Due to the importance of automotive industry, as one of the leading industries in the field of technological, organizational and technical research and development, the motor insurance has special significance in the insurance development, traffic safety and protection of human lives.
