PROBLEMS OF POWER COLLECTION ON HIGH-SPEED VEHICLES
PROBLEM DER ENERGIEZUFUEHRUN BEI HOCHGESCHWINDIGKEITSFAHRZEUGEN
On the basis of known power collection systems, three speed ranges are formed. Range I covers the existing contact-wire system, range II extends up to the limit of wheel/rail traction and range III embraces track-bound, railless vehicles for very high speeds. In conclusion, the author describes requirements to be met by the power collection systems of very high speed vehicles.
