REVIEW OF IMPACT AND FATIGUE FOR PRESTRESSED CONCRETE RAILWAY BRIDGES

The impact factors required for steel and concrete bridges in various countries are compared and impact factor curves appropriate to prestressed concrete railroad bridges for higher speeds are discussed. Stresses specified in the Soviet code are quoted.
