THE SCOPE FOR SUB-SURFACE TRANSPORT AND ITS INFLUENCE IN URBAN PLANNING
This article consists of the discussions of the three named men on this subject. The discussion includes planning for tunneling if tunneling becomes more common for cities, and more financially attractive. The philosophy of city center development is a factor. The resistance to highways predisposes the public toward subways.
