ANALYSIS OF RIGID-FRAME BRIDGE VIBRATIONS BY TRANSFER MATRIX METHOD
Considering the case of a rigid-frame bridge in the manner of a frame structure composed of beams, columns and ten lumped masses, the calculation of natural frequencies and vibrational mode on the rigid-frame bridge is performed by transfer matrix method. Moreover, the calculated results are compared with the measured results, which were obtained in new Sanyo line speed tests. Consequently, the strength of the bridge is discussed by these results.
