The Derivation Method of Twisting Moment and Influence of the Moment on Vehicle Behavior
Twisting Moment の導出方法と車両の挙動に及ぼす影響
Behavior of a tire for a two-wheeled vehicle and a tire for a four-wheeled vehicle are greatly different. Especially, when we calculate behavior of a two-wheeled vehicle, it is necessary to consider Twisting Moment that acts on an axis normal to ground because influence of the moment on vehicle behavior is too large to ignore. In this paper, we describe the mechanism that the moment is caused and influence of the moment on vehicle behavior.二輪車用タイヤは,四輪車用タイヤとは挙動が大きく異なる.二輪車用タイヤの場合,路面に垂直な軸まわりに,キャンバ角に起因するモーメントが大きく発生する.これまでこのモーメントの発生メカニズムが明らかでなかった.本報ではこのモーメントの発生メカニズムや計算方法,車両の挙動に与える影響について述べる.
