A Study of the Effectiveness of BAS with a Survey Simulator to Evaluate Safety Systems (ASSESS)

予防安全支援システム効果評価シミュレータ(ASSESS)を用いたブレーキアシストシステムの有効性に関する検討

We are developing A Survey Simulator to Evaluate Safety Systems (ASSESS) that virtually reproduces a real intersection and traffic flow in which vehicles run autonomously in the computer. In this study, the effect of BAS (Brake Assist System) was evaluated by using ASSESS. We revealed the benefits of BAS in the situations of ordinary driving at the intersection and sudden braking during following driving.実交差点を計算機内に再現し，自律走行車両を実交通流と同等に出現させることで予防安全支援システムの効果評価を行うシミュレータASSESSを用いてBAS（Brake Assist System）の効果評価を行い，交差点における通常走行時のBASの効果及び追従走行時の緊急状態におけるBASの効果を明らかにした．
