PERFORMANCE TESTS OF HEAVY SIMPLE CATENARY SYSTEM

Instead of stiched simple catenary, heavy simple catenary and diamond type simple catenary were newly developed to improve anti-wind performance. Contact loss, uplift and anti-wind characteristics were tested, and these catenaries showed satisfactory results.
