A Three State Method for Determine the Speed-Flow-Density Parameters of the Fundamental Diagram
The determination of the speed-volume-density parameters from looping detectors captured data. After trying various models, the author decided for the three state defined by Ning Wu. From de mass of data obtained the author used the boundary points to determine the regressions. This method is more accurate than others. The fundamental diagram parameters will be used to enhance the modeling systems used on planning the city.
