Application System for Sydney Strategic Travel Model
This document updates the Sydney Strategic Transport Model (STM) which reflects the travel behavior of residents of Sydney, Australia. The STM was originally developed in 1999 by Hague Consulting Group. RAND Europe was tasked with updating the information used in the STM model, including the travel demand components of frequency, mode, and destination. Contents of this document include: an overview of the travel demand models; segmentations used in the models, specifically mode-destination and frequency segments; application system operations ; and verification and validation.
