Renaissance--the ATR way

From facing an almost certain closure in 2003/2004, this Franco-Italian combine of EADS and Alenia Aermacchi--Avions de Transport Regional, better known simply as ATR--experienced a remarkable renaissance logging record sales in 2011 and again in 2012 and is well on its way to eclipsing that this year. Escalating fuel prices, modernity, investment in technology and passenger comfort are among the may reasons for ART's renaissance.
