Highly Elastic Rail Supports and Whisper Rails

The article discusses how it is important that noise and vibrations from trams be minimized. The Whisper Rail and Delta Fastener systems elastic support systems have been developed for situations like this. The Whisper Rail provides continuous elastic support to both grooved and flat-bottomed rails, and the Delta Fastener allows provision of highly elastic support for a rail. Both systems can be used for any application connected with short-distance passenger rail transport. The use of these systems is an attractive and economic solution for reducing structure-borne noise and vibrations. Both systems have been tested extensively to show compliance with all types of requirements and have shown very good results on numerous sections where they have been installed.
