Application of Electronic Documents to Container Rail- Water Intermodal Transportation

With the application of the electronic data interchange (EDI) platform to transmit electronic documents, the realization of paperless trade has become the inevitable trend of rail-water intermodal transportation in the future. And the design of electronic documents has become a hotspot in the research field. Through the analysis of electronic documents of rail-water intermodal transportation development and application in our country and abroad, a summary of the current questions is made. And then an EDI-based electronic document is proposed to realize data exchange. The paper aims to offer a reference for the research on container rail-water intermodal transportation.
