Analysis of Metro Emergencies Based on the Method of Fault Tree Analysis
Emergencies usually occur in the Urban Rail Transit system when this system is entering a network operation period. There are many internal and external facts that may eventually lead to emergency accidents. With the purpose of improving the safety of the daily operation in the Metro system, in this paper, the emergency accidents that occurred in the Beijing Metro system are first carefully analyzed, then the authors classified and analyzed the characteristics of the accidents. A model based on fault tree analysis is built to qualitatively analyze the actual case. A directive opinion aimed at promoting the operational safety and reliability is proposed based on the model the authors built. What's more, the place that needs further improvement is also pointed out.
