RAILWAY BRIDGE
Design features and techniques used in construction of Como Railway Bridge in New South Wales, Australia which consists of seven simply supported 159 ft. spans giving an overall length of 1,113 ft. Each of the six piers and the south abutment is supported on composite piles. A spread footing founded on solid sandstone supports the north abutment.
