A Comparison of Existing Algorithms for Travel Time Estimation
This paper conducts a comparison of several existing travel time estimation models. Two classes of travel time estimation algorithms are classified in terms of different data sources (loop detectors and floating cars). This is the first time to investigate the performance of different algorithms. The results and recommendations will be of benefit to practitioners.
