Motorcycle/Auto Crash Test Results
In 2012, a series of four motorcycle/automobile crash tests were conducted. This article presents data and photographs from three of these tests. In two of the tests, a stationary car was used as the target vehicle, while a stationary motorcycle was the target in the third test. The results from the two side-impact tests were reasonably consistent with each other. The data from these tests that can aid in determining motorcycle impact speeds.
